RANGE SAFETY OFFICERS (RSOs)
Range Safety Officers serve their community and recreational shooters by ensuring LDWF ranges are operated in a safe manner and that shooters abide by basic firearm safety and range rules. Learn more about LDWF shooting ranges here.
⚠️RANGE SAFETY OFFICER TRAINING:
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Range Safety Officer for LDWF, you must meet certain qualifications including obtaining LDWF Range Safety Office training and passing both a criminal and wildlife background check. For more information, contact shootingsports@wlf.la.gov.
