Q: Why is LDWF going digital?

A: Keeping track of volunteer hours on paper Time & Activity sheets takes a lot of time, energy, and manual input. We want to make the process of recording and submitting your volunteer hours as easy and accurate as possible. We know that transitions and change can be a bit scary, but we’re excited about this change and hope you are, too.

Q: How do I find my LDWF ID#?

A: If you need to create or look up your LDWF ID#, create an account or sign in to LouisianaOutdoors.com.

Q: What if I have questions about signing up or using the new system?

A: Contact your Coordinator with any questions you have as you begin signing up for and using the new system. We are here to support you, and we appreciate you helping us launch this new tool! Helpful guides are included below to help you navigate the sign-up process. You can also use the Contact Us form or email volunteer@wlf.la.gov.

Q: How do I create an account on Geaux Volunteer?

A: Creating an account is easy. We've created a step-by-step guide to walk you through the process.

Q: Will this change how I teach my BAI classes?

No. You will still teach your classes as you normally do. The only thing that will change is how you record your own volunteer hours for teaching. This new platform takes the place of paper Time & Activity sheets. Now, you’ll be able to add your hours immediately to your account either from a desktop or laptop computer or right from your phone! (We will send tips on how to do this from your phone in a later email.)
